Safilo Group is a multinational group of companies that carries out its activities in different countries and jurisdictions. Therefore, it must abide by all applicable tax laws and regulations in the many jurisdictions in which it operates, including tax laws. 

Safilo Group tax strategy is aimed at affirming a set of values, recognized as underlying Principles of tax behavior for the Group and providing correlative guidelines, with the aim of ensuring consistent and uniform tax management across all entities belonging to the Group, in order to

• Mitigate tax risk, defined as the risk of violating tax laws, or of abusing the principles and purposes of tax regulations;

• Continue to ensure over time the correct and timely computation and payment of taxes due in accordance with applicable laws and fulfilment of related compliance obligations.
